Spessard Holland Golf Course is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Melbourne Beach, Florida.
Spessard Holland Golf Course opened for play in 1977. The course was designed by Arnold Palmer.
Spessard Holland Golf Course has more than six acres of water hazards. Hole #14, a 364-yard, par 4, plays alongside the Indian River. The fairways are lined with palm trees, and the fast greens are medium-sized.
Par for the course is 67. From the back tees the course plays to 5,155 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 3,856 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 13, a par-5 that plays to 452 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 17, a par-3 that plays to 140 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 384 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Spessard Holland Golf Course is # 17, the 140 yard par-3.

A short course for seniors. Well taken care of. Excellent staff, friendly, helpful.

Beautiful setting, River on one side, beach on the other. Usually breezy. We have played this several times and it always seems to be slow pace. Challenging short layout. Staff seems to be overloaded and burned out. Not very friendly to strangers. You can buy a card for 3 Brevard County courses for 95 bucks, as a non resident. This gives you a discount of $20 per round. If you are going to be here a while definitely worth it. However you have to tell these people you want it.. Seems like it is too much work for them and they will tell you it is only for Residents. (Residents pay a lot less)
